Starting off as a place to show my 2000AD-themed projects, its mutated into a diary of what i'm up to in the SF & Fantasy modelling hobby. And the odd rant, review and ramble.

Klingon Bird Of Prey - dirtying done
Here we are with the regular washes etc affair process of dirtying down. Still a bit too matt so am going in with ink washes in a few places to simulate oil/propellant leaks to add a bit of gloss. Then gonna go to town with the M.a.K rust washes

Fan of decent film, especially 50's SF, Universal and Hammer horrors, the shorts of Laurel & Hardy. Love the British boys comics i grew up on, special effects in any form, history, mythology, fantasy and cheese.

I love that scene when the Bird of Prey first decloaks and attacks the Grissom !!
Yeah, if you go on Youtube and type in Star Trek 3, someone's edited togther just the BOP effects footage - great stuff.
You don't often see many good pics of the Merchantman ship from that film, the rear engines always reminded me of the Y-Wing Fighter from Star Wars !!
