The Joker - assembled
This was going to be a post to show my "ship made from a Sure bottle" was all finished. But the light here today is far too bright for this crappy camera, giving off much too much glare on patently not shiny surfaces.
Instead, here's the Joker with his legs filled with plaster and all assembled. Part fit was okay, with just a bit of filler needed.
I've only Blu-Tac'd the right arm on for the primer application as its too far in front of the face, making possible painting problems when i come to do the eyes etc. So will be removing it and only putting it back on when i get to the jacket painting.

Filling the legs, is that to stabilise the model?
Yeah, i do that for all my vinyl kits as the lightness of the plastic along with the hollowness of everything, makes them reral prone to falling over.
Even more so with tthis one as he's got a real leaning back pose.
Think i've overdone it though - i should have filled to just above the ankles but instead filled to the top of the legs. Trouble with that is i've mucked up the centre of gravity and he leans back too far and won't stand up.
So need to anchor him to a base now. Thinking of going with a Joker playing card affair.
Joker playing card base, excellent.
