I bought it as it was blatently based on a pre-production sketch by Joe Johnson of the "Chicken Walker" or Scout Walker from "Empire", and a nice size to boot.
All i really needed to do to make it more "model-like" was to make a new, more pronounced cockpit area (which you can see here i've slopply picked out in red - will tidy it up, promise) and fill the inside of the legs.
So, here's a bunch of pics to show what i've been up to - all that's needed to finish is to put a bit of rust & dirt here and there:
